Good afternoon! I’m hoping on the blog today to share our simple St. Patrick’s Day tablescape. I love celebrating and decorating for all of the holidays. I also love doing it simply and on a budget too.
I used our everyday white plates for this table and layered them with these cute smaller plates that were a clearance find at Kirkland’s recently. One budget friendly and fun trick I used for this place setting is scrapbook paper, I used larger square pieces as the placemats. They are about .25 per page so definitely budget friendly!
I also used a fun ombré shamrock banner over our table runner to add a little holiday fun. You can typically find fun banners like this at craft and dollar stores for a few dollars. The green cups were from the Hearth and Home line at Target a couple years ago. They were originally seasonal Christmas decor but, work perfectly for St. Patrick’s Day too. That’s another way to keep on budget. Look for other seasonal/holiday items and see which decor can be used for more than one occasion.
I added napkins and silverware to each place setting too. One place I typically search for affordable table linens is Amazon. You can usually find very reasonably priced and pretty things which is nice when you change it frequently. It allows you to add to your collection while staying on budget. I also used “fancy” plastic silverware and paper straws which is a fun and budget friendly way to coordinate the colors.
Regardless of how or if you decorate your table for this fun holiday, I hope you celebrate and make some memories with your family and friends!
