Halloween Bedroom

Good morning! I hope you are having a great week so far! It’s finally starting to feel like fall around here! We are busy, busy with our girls fall soccer schedule but, it should be winding down soon. I’ve had a few requests to see a bit more of our home so, I thought it would be fun to share rooms with you when they are decorated for holidays. You know how I love holiday decor!

Today I’m going to share a peek at one of our girls rooms. She has a black and white color scheme so decorating for Halloween was perfect!

When we built the house I had my dad and hubby add some custom walls and trims to different areas. They added this board and batten wall in her room and it’s my favorite place for her bed to sit. It was also so fun to add some paper bats to this wall!
I used black poster board and patterned scrapbook paper to make the bats. The picture above her bed actually has fun cactus plants on it normally but, I covered it in gingham wrapping paper and added the “Boo” banner for Halloween. She found the twinkle lights in one of the Christmas totes in our garage and hung them up several months ago. She loves them (what teen girl doesn’t love twinkle lights), so I leave them.
Her side table is just a gold mirror top table that I found at Hobby Lobby. I added pumpkins from the Target dollar spot and Dollar Tree.
Her bedding is all white and constantly needs to be washed. I actually have two sets so I can switch them out regularly. Who knew teen girl were SO messy! I added a couple more pumpkins at the foot of her bed. I’d eventually love to add an area rug but, I’ve tried a couple and haven’t found one we both love.
Each of girls have a large mirror in their rooms because… it’s just a necessity for a teen girl especially when they share a bathroom. Her mirror is a pretty distressed creamy white. I added a few of the fun paper bats here too!

Thats is just a little peek into our home at Halloween. I plan to share another one of our girls rooms decorated for Christmas.
