Good morning, friends! If you’ve visited my blog or IG account even for a minute, it’s safe to say you know I love holidays and any reason to celebrate! I always have the most fun decorating and setting up little treats to celebrate and hopefully make sweet memories for my family.
One day last week I set up this sweet Valentines themed hot cocoa bar for a fun after school treat for our girls. I had it set up and waiting for them when they got home from school.
I used little holiday dishes and paper goods that I’ve collected from stores like Hobby Lobby, Target, Home Goods, and T.J. maxx. I simply set out hot cocoa packets, marshmallows, cool whip, chocolate covered spoons, and Valentines sprinkles.
For a backdrop I used a plate stand and layered a few cute plates. The little heart plates were a Target find this year. A cute printable or hand written note would also be a really sweet addition to this set up.
This would make a simple and fun treat for your family on Valentine’s Day. You could even set it up in the morning and use cute “to go” cups! If you’re mornings go anything like ours do, you may take breakfast on the go. Of course, we do have three teen girls in our home. Getting ready for school is more important to them than sitting down for breakfast!? Anyway you serve it up this definitely makes for a sweet treat and hopefully an even sweeter memory!
