Our “Pre-Fall” Tablescape

I’m not really sure if a “Pre-Fall Tablescape” is a thing but, I’m going to make it one. I’ve always enjoyed the change of seasons and of course love to decorate and celebrate each one! Fall is really one of my favorites though so, I’m extra excited about decorating for it! I’m really trying to hold off pulling out all of my pumpkin décor until September. I’ll admit that I’ve already pulled the totes down and peeked inside but, they are patiently waiting by the back garage door until the end of the month!

To satisfy my “need” for a bit of fall in my home, I decided to use apples on my tablescape for the rest of August. I took my back to school décor off the table and added a large dough bowl of apples.

I purchased my dough bowl, artificial apples, faux cabbage heads, bowls, the wood serving board, and buffalo check plates at Hobby Lobby. The white hobnail plates are from Dollar Tree. The leaf plates, banners, and napkins are from Target and the check table runner is from T.J. Maxx.

To me apples say Back to School but, they also remind me of trips to the Apple Orchard in the fall!

Each season holds so many memories and so many things to look forward to! For our family it means a quick stop in to the Orchard for apple doughnuts and slushies, a big family trip to the pumpkin patch, fires on the porch, trick or treating with cousins and a chili dinner after, pumpkin carving, and all the other magical things about fall! While we were sad for summer break to end, we have a lot to look forward to as fall approaches!
